Who we are

Speedy Parcel Delivery is a local courier service in Greater Manchester. If you have a question about this policy or your information, contact us at info@speedyparcel.co.uk or on 0161 850 6160.

What we collect

When you fill in a form on this website, or contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email, we collect what you send us. Depending on the form, this can include:

• your name, phone number and email address
• pickup and drop-off addresses and postcodes, and details of the item
• your account details, if you ask to open an account
• if you apply to drive for us: your address, whether you are eligible to work in the UK, driving licence number, insurance provider and policy number, and details of your vehicle
• anything else you choose to write in your message

Like most websites, the website and its hosting may also record basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to you, arrange collections and deliveries, set up accounts, consider driver applications, and keep records of our work. We use it because you have asked us to do something, or because we need it to run our business.

Who we share it with

Form details are sent by email to our team. We share information only with the people and services needed to deal with your request, for example the driver doing your delivery and the email service we use.

If you set up a direct debit, you give your bank details to GoCardless, not to us. GoCardless has its own privacy notice.

How long we keep it

We keep information for as long as we need it for the reasons above and for our records. After that we delete it or make sure it cannot identify you.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it in certain ways. Email info@speedyparcel.co.uk and we will come back to you. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
